From Idea to Impact
Build, Develop, Validate
DEX IC connects technology development with real-world testing, user needs and practical adoption. We can move an idea to a working prototype or digital solution and help make sure it creates real impact.
1. Build
μFabLab and technical development
Our in-house prototyping facility in Liberec has dedicated technical capacity to develop and test functional hardware prototypes. We take an idea from initial design to a testable physical device, including its electronics, enclosure, firmware and basic validation.

Example: Emergency lung ventilator: our own open-source device built during COVID-19, combining 3D-printed components, a mechanical drive, sensor feedback and embedded firmware. μFabLab also supported projects such as 4Steps and Second Chance.
2. Develop
Applied AI and our own software
We build practical AI-enabled software, not just use AI tools. Our own pipelines analyse complex documents, extract the information that matters and structure it into traceable, validated outputs.

Challenge
Female founders outside startup hubs often lack access to tailored acceleration, validation tools, and investor visibility.
DEX IC's role
We co-designed and delivered a 7-week pre-acceleration programme. Our team provided mentoring, validation support, and investor pitch training for 20 early-stage startups.
Outcome
Participants pitched to international stakeholders at the Female Founders Summit in Tallinn. Several startups moved toward pilot testing and follow-up investment.
