Young technological teams have met and competed in Hungary during the closing event of project NewGenerationSkills

06. 06. 2019

NewGenerationSkills Project was supporting interesting ideas and projects. The best participants in the training program were given the opportunity to present their ideas at the final project meeting in Budapest. They competed with the rest of the teams from the participating countries.

Thanks to the NewGenerationSkills project in Liberec, was established a new innovative laboratory called µFabLab. It was opened for young people interested in digital technology and business. In addition, we have created a special training program for these enthusiasts to improve and deepen their digital and business skills. Thus, during the 8 training modules, program participants invented and were improving their business ideas. The best of the program attended were invited to the closing meeting in Budapest. There they were, together with other young students from Europe, presenting their ideas to an expert jury and competing for interesting prizes.

Liberec was represented by Filip and Stefan, who were presenting their innovative C-Cube idea. It is a special cover for the connected contacts which corrode due to a wet environment. Although the jury was impressed by their idea, they did not win due to the tough competition of the other 11 teams. Yet they said it was an important experience that will definitely help them to move their idea a little further.

The project is co-financed by European Union funds (ERDF, IPA).
