Invitation to EIT Health Innovation Days 2019 in Prague, 1st November 2019

i-Days promote health innovation among university students through one-to-two-day programmes held at academic institutions around Europe. You will receive an introduction to practical health innovation tools and work in multidisciplinary teams to tackle real-life health challenges posed by EIT Health projects, local organisations or private corporations. Successful teams will receive resources to develop their ideas.
In the Czech Republic, i-Days will take place at the CIIRC, ČVUT in Prague.
Invited speakers from the industry will introduce you a process for creative problem solving – design thinking, work with you on improving your presentation skills or talk about healthcare innovation and their own success. Whom you can expect?

Moreover, we will show you 3 expo projects bringing some real-life examples of innovative solutions for health care.
- SMART4MD – as part of the SMART4MD Roadshow, we will introduce an application improving the quality of life of people with mild dementia and their carers.
- InoCure – Matej will introduce their product. InoCure is the winner of DEXIC Accelerator 2019 and finalist of EIT Health InnoStars Awards. They provide solutions for life science and pharmaceutical industry and their product DifMATRIX is the first active 3D cell culture membrane that enables faster, reliable and ethical preclinical testing.
- The last project will be from ČVUT - TBD
The afternoon will be dedicated to a specific challenge related to home care solutions. You will work in teams on a solution using design thinking. And in the evening, your goal is going to persuade the jury that your idea is the right one. The winner wins a trip to Paris! This will be an opportunity to develop your skills in innovation and entrepreneurship and refine your winning Innovation Day idea. The event will take place at the prestigious Palais Brongniart with great networking opportunities and exciting prizes on offer!
