Health startups: Learn more about possibilities for your growth by EIT Health - deadlines on 27th March!

19. 03. 2019

Our partner, EIT Health, organizes for Health startups and SME's programmes that help them realize their solutions. We are introducing two of them with the deadline on 27th March 2019!

INNOSTARS AWARDS

The first programme is InnoStars Awards. Its goal is to shorten time-to-market for innovative products and services, to verify the need or benefit of the product for customers and to increase the possibility to attract private investment. InnoStars Awards is suitable for early-stage companies and SMEs that already have prototype or an MVP but they do not generate revenues yet.

The programme has two phases. In the 1st one, best 15 participants receive €20 000, mentoring, two bootcamps to develop business skills, access to EIT Health's Living Labs and to EIT Health's Investor network. In the 2nd phase will selected participants pitch their business plan to an international jury. Three best teams will divide €50 000 to launch their products or service, to find their customers and establish a connection with EIT Health Partners from all over Europe.

START-UPS MEETS PHARMA

The 2nd programme, Start-ups meets Pharma, call for cooperation among pharmaceutical partners and start-ups that are developing digital solutions with an impact on both the pharmaceutical industry and patients. They are going to tackle the following challenges.

  • Providing the right diagnosis at the right point in time – Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Telemedicine-based patient support program
  • Parkinson’s Disease – How to improve the management of “wearing-off” motor episodes (dyskinesias, dystonias); including freezing episodes
  • Creating a Biomarker Measurement Platform
  • The measurement of skin health in the assessment of treatment efficacy and ability to predict flares for conditions such as atopic dermatitis and chronic spontaneous urticaria currently relies on direct clinical observation which can be subject to variability and subjectivity.

More information about currently opened Start-ups meets Pharma available HERE.

Deadline for applications is for both programmes 27. March 2019!
