The MBA mini-business training package is complete, but what is it?

05. 05. 2022

The MyVA project will create an MBA training package in the field of mini-business in Czech and other languages.

Although we live in an ever-changing world where radical innovations are impacting all industries, the way business and entrepreneurship is taught and what is taught is unfortunately not changing much. Many VET teachers/trainers do not understand the needs of today's businesses, especially in relation to digital technologies, and this creates barriers between young adults and employers.

The project benefits two target groups of VET teachers/trainers and young people interested in setting up their own virtual agency. MYVA aims to improve the capacity of VET teachers/trainers to improve their knowledge and understanding of the solopreneurship concept and their needs. Similarly, aspiring solopreneurs need to learn how to set up and run a solopreneur enterprise. The MyVA Mini MBA course will address the needs of BOTH target groups.

The MyVA Mini MBA course will be available in all partner languages and will be accessible online via the project website. The curriculum and course will include a set of 6-8 practical training modules covering topics such as:
Creating a concept and value proposition
Market research and competition
Name and brand
Service fees and pricing
Digitisation and automation
Creation of online presentation
Networking and lead generation
Finance and cashflow
Complete package.

The project will involve 35 young people and 14 VET teachers/trainers and 230 participants who will take part in a series of seven multiplier events. MyVA project partners will share the results and impacts of the project with 10,000 members of both target groups and other VET stakeholders through a planned dissemination strategy running throughout the project.

MyVA will help VET centres to adapt to the new COVID19 environment by building on existing experience and developing a practical toolkit and a new MyVA Mini MBA course. It will also help VET centres and teachers/trainers to implement digital learning tools in their VET courses.

The partners will use a Creative Commons-inspired licensing agreement to ensure that online access remains open and unrestricted. The learning portal will remain available and ensure the continued availability of learning resources beyond the end of the project: it will operate as an Open Educational Resource (OER).

How will the materials be obtained?

The entire document will be available on the MYVA website, which is already available in English and will also be on the DEX Innovation Center website. At the same time, we will implement a pilot test, in which it will be possible to take the training course.
