We opened the 2nd call for schools in Prague, Liberec, Ústí and Hradec Králové regions

03. 02. 2020

We are opening the second round of registrations to the InnoSchool Innovative Education System (ILS) Pilot. The call is open to all schools from Prague, Liberec, Ústí and Hradec Králové regions. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we have prolonged the deadline for applications until 31st August 2020.

InnoSchool tackles the need for system change to support weak entrepreneurial culture and low engagement to social innovation and entrepreneurship already at adolescent age. The aim of the project is to strengthen the social innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of students by creating and implementing a highly innovative educational tool for secondary schools.

The InnoSchool training tool consists of several parts. It combines a serious computer game, classical education and inter-school competition. Students will also be able to share their achievements and new experiences on social networks.

As part of the educational game, there are 6 social needs:

  • Care of the aging population,
  • Moving society towards environmental responsibility,
  • Inclusion of excluded groups
  • The welfare of the child,
  • Brain drain,
  • Disadvantages of peripheral and rural areas.

The pilot test will involve 10 - 12 schools in Prague, Liberec, Ústí and Hradec Králové regions. Individual schools can register from February 1 to August 31, 2020 using the form below. Pilot tests will also be carried out in the other 8 regions involved at the same time, with a total of 90 European schools participating.

The pilot test will take place in 5 or 6 educational modules, depending on the focus of the particular school. In connection with this, the modules will be realized within 5 - 8 weeks. Before the start of the pilot, there will be a workshop for teachers, where they will acquire the necessary knowledge to guide the students. The pilot will be led by a trained teacher with the support of the DEX Innovation Center.
