The aim of EIT Health Morning Health Talk, in general, is to inspire through sharing valuable information about the tendencies of health innovations and strengthen communication, networking and activities of the local ecosystem stakeholders.

We will be very glad if you will join us together with other 20 Czech personally invited future thinking healthcare professionals - representatives of governmental organizations, healthcare providers, universities, science and research institutions, professional organizations, companies, startups and individuals.

For traditional medicinal products and devices, the steps of the innovation pathway in EU member states are relatively clear and well-defined. However, in recent years there has been rapid growth in a new sector: medical and health technology products, such as software or digital diagnostic tools. An important part is played specifically by digital health products and services.

Innovators and other stakeholders developing digital health and telemedicine products can often face difficulties in achieving widespread adoption, due to local procurement barriers or other infrastructural challenges. Such barriers can delay potentially impactful solutions from reaching patients and citizens.

The current COVID-19 pandemic substantially eliminated resistance to digital innovations and accelerated the need for health services available from home, including telemedicine.

So what is the future of digital health and telemedicine in the world and in the Czech Republic? And how can these innovations impact health economics and adoption of these innovations among stakeholders? Come and join our discussion!
