14 Years, 14 Projects: another DEX-Initiated project approved

15. 06. 2026

This year, DEX Innovation Centre celebrates 14 years of supporting innovation and international collaboration. Coincidentally, the newly approved initiative also represents the 14th Interreg project developed from an idea that originated within our team. For us, this milestone is more than just a number, it reflects years of partnership building, trust, creativity, and commitment to delivering meaningful European projects.

This achievement further reinforces our position within the Interreg ecosystem and reflects our long-standing expertise in creating impactful European collaborations - from idea generation and partnership building to proposal development, stakeholder facilitation, validation, and strategic project design.

With this newly approved initiative, we have now successfully developed 14 Interreg projects across three programming periods in Interreg Europe, Interreg Central Europe, Interreg Danube Region and Interreg South East Europe, where the original project concept originated directly from our team.

"At DEX IC, we strongly believe that impactful European projects are built on trust, collaboration, and the ability to connect innovation with real societal needs. Especially today, when artificial intelligence and rapid technological change are transforming Europe faster than ever before, strong international partnerships and innovation ecosystems are becoming increasingly important," says Petra Jalšovec Palacz, Business Development and Fundraising Manager at DEX Innovation Centre.

Over the years, we have developed extensive expertise in health innovation, digital transformation, education, energy, circular economy, startup acceleration, and technology development. Through our activities, we connect startups, SMEs, researchers, public institutions, corporations, and innovation stakeholders across Europe.

“This success reflects much more than a well-prepared proposal. It demonstrates our ability to identify emerging European challenges, design relevant project concepts, build high-quality international consortia, and align partners around a shared ambition. We see this approval as recognition of the role DEX IC plays in shaping and driving innovation collaborations across Europe,” says Tina Igličar Kubalik, Co-founder of DEX Innovation Centre.

As Europe faces increasingly complex societal, technological, and economic challenges, DEX Innovation Centre remains dedicated to transforming bold ideas into impactful international projects that drive innovation, strengthen regional competitiveness, and create lasting value for citizens, businesses, and communities across Europe. We look forward to continuing this journey with partners who share our vision of a more connected, innovative, and resilient Europe.
