Concept of InnoSchool Learning tool discussed with the Advisory Group

23. 05. 2019

On Wednesday, May 22, was organized in European House, Prague, very first Advisory group of InnoSchool project meeting. InnoSchool tackles the need for system change to support weak entrepreneurial culture and low engagement to social innovation and entrepreneurship. The main goals of the meeting were introducing the current state of InnoSchool Learning System (ILS) and getting valuable feedback.

This meeting was very first, however, more meetings will take place in order to know the opinions of people with social entrepreneurship knowledge. In the Czech Republic, we work on project InnoSchool with Liberec Region that was represented by Mrs Iva Prokopova, with National Institute for Education represented by Mrs Katerina Lichtenberkova and Petr Jansa, but we want to know opinions of many others. That is why we have invited students (SZŠ Mladá Boleslav), teachers (Taťána Šárovcová - OH Heroldovz Sady), social entrepreneurs (Helena Sojková - Kupcake) and many more. This kind of feedback is highly valuable for the final form of the innovative InnoSchool Learning System.

The overall participants' experience was positive and brought some interesting thoughts as well as valuable insights for improvements. According to participants, it is important to support the teachers who will be using the ILS. In the case of the interschool competition, that will be also part of the ILS, it is crucial to motivate participating students with a reward relevant for their CVs. Next suggestion was to give the whole System community character - to allow the participants to be in touch with each other. E.g. by using social media that will be used for sharing their knowledge or for informing friends about their progress or other projects.

Similarly to the Czech Republic, Advisory Group meetings are now being organized in all partner countries. All the information we get from these meetings will be carefully evaluated and collected feedback will influence the development of InnoSchool learning tool, which should be finished at the end of November/beginning of December 2019. After its completion, the tool will be tested in the summer period 2019-2020 at 10 schools in the Liberec Region and in other partner countries.

Next meeting of Advisory group is planned at the end of October/beginning of November and its goals are to introduce the pre-final version of InnoSchool learning tool and get new insights that will help with the realization.
