How to digitize the production in Czech companies

The workshop will take place at the Regional Research Library in Liberec on December 12, 2017 from 9:00 to 13:00. The workshop program is divided into three parts. In the first part, the company Merz will present its experience as an example of the best practice. There will be presented funding possibilities by Czech Invest and finally, the Technical University of Liberec will bring an expert insight into the issue of Industry 4.0. In the second part of the event, you will have the opportunity to discuss the identification of specific problems in implementation with participating companies and key players of the regional innovative ecosystem. The last part of the program will offer a virtual view on experience and stories about companies from abroad which have already implemented Industry 4.0.

The event is organized in the framework of the V4&I4 project that focuses on raising awareness and exchanging experience on the production digitization processes in the Visegrad countries. It aims to strengthen the competitiveness of companies from the region and increase their profits.

The workshop is organized by DEX Innovation Centre, an innovation centre based in Liberec, which aims to connect entrepreneurs with innovators, developers and researchers in collaboration with leading European universities, organizations and governments.
