HoCare is applying for the European Health Award

European Health Award is annually awarded on the occasion of the European Health Forum International Conference, held in the beginning of October in the spa town of Bad Hofgastein, Austria. The jury is looking for initiatives focusing on public health and healthcare delivery in Europe. It also notes improving the quality of care and access to care. Such focused projects must be implemented in at least two European countries and must be sustainable, innovative, transferable and ready for implementation. The winner will be also awarded prize money of EUR 10 000. In previous years, projects promoting prudent use of antibiotics (European Antibiotic Awareness Day) or better access to the European health system for immigrants (Health with Migrants for Migrants in Europe) have been awarded.
