The main part of the programme will focus on a hands-on presentation of two digital platforms developed within the project. The Zero Carbon Tool (ZCT) enables companies to evaluate their environmental impact and easily manage life cycle assessments (LCA). The Digital Circular Inventory (DCI) matches industrial waste streams – such as metals, plastics, and chemicals – with circular opportunities, so that materials find further use instead of ending up in landfill.
Participants will learn how SMEs can easily apply these tools in their own operations and how to concretely match their waste streams with circular solutions.
The programme will be complemented by inspiring real-world examples from the DCI ecosystem, including the Circular Materials initiative, the CURIOST project, and the CradleAlp project. The upcoming REUSE2030 Capacity Building Path training programme will also be introduced, aiming to help companies overcome the lack of internal skills and knowledge in the field of sustainability and circular economy.
The conference will also launch the creation of the REUSE2030 Transnational Network, designed to connect businesses, support organisations, and other stakeholders across Central Europe. Participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges and to officially join the network.
Registration for the conference is available via the online form. More information about the project is available on the REUSE2030 website.
The REUSE2030 project is supported by the Interreg Central Europe Programme.
