The Live Circular Canvas project has started in Spain!

03. 01. 2020

Project partners have met for the very first time at the project kick-off meeting that took place on 3rd and 4th December 2019 in Denia, Spain. Among others, they set up the principles of cooperation, as well as discussed first steps at the project consortium.

Partners will develop, among others, innovative training materials so as to give a hand to those who’d like to contribute to the change.

Managing these changes require entrepreneurs to understand:

  • the logic by which a circular enterprise creates and delivers shared or multiple values to customers;
  • what does this new way of thinking mean for the business community;
  • how can profitable business models be combined with social and environmental responsibility;
  • and how can they design products right from the beginning, and do things better, instead of just less bad.

The Live Circular Canvas consortium consists of 6 partner organizations from Sweden, Romania, the Netherlands, Spain, Denmark and the Czech Republic. Most of the partners know each other from the past, as this project is not the first one on which the partners work together. The aim of the meeting was primarily to set up future cooperation and also to schedule tasks for the successful direction of the project. The program was therefore full of workshops and presentations, which followed the individual outputs of the project.

Thanks to the start of the project, it is now possible to start fulfilling the goals of the project which are:

  1. develop 18 case studies of already existing circular businesses applying circular thinking;
  2. prepare 18 Circular Business Models of the identified Entrepreneurial Practices;
  3. use the digital storytelling method for preparing at least 10 short films of the identified businesses;
  4. develop new, tailored training material for entrepreneurial skills for circular economy thinking;
  5. develop high quality visual educational product bridging circular business modelling knowledge and digital storytelling
  6. and development of a multi-device online learning hub supporting entrepreneurs in acquiring skills needed for circular economy thinking.
