DEX Innovation Centre invited multiple relevant stakeholders from business angels, public and private institutions supporting startups, startups themselves and industry and SME associations to present the results of the analysis of the Czech funding landscape, present the initial CE-Connector ACIF vision and goals and get important feedback for further strategical and operational processes. Discussions revealed that initial vision and strategy has good core values for startups and business angels, but clear and administratively easy investment processes need to be set up for all contract parties (i.e. lead investors, public institutions leveraging the investment with financial or non-financial support and invested startup) for the stages of investments and exits. Despite enough investment money being available on the market Czech market already, CE-Connector ACIF fund can provide substantial value in terms of investments value range between 3F and VC and international network, expansion and business development in CE.
