Technology transfer and IP Capitalization

  •

We act as technology brokers in both dimensions - in vertical as well as horizontal technology transfers, while developed methodology is applied mostly for multiple actor cooperation (i.e. technology transfer from university to industry) but can be used also within one actor (mostly large enterprises). An important part of technology transfer is Intellectual Property Management and using the most effective way to capitalise developed Intellectual Property Assets. As we realised in our past projects, this is an underdeveloped knowledge for most of our partners. So we offer support in development and implementation of an IP Strategy and can help with IP capitalisation.

Our competences are:

Technology Transfer

Technology Transfer Service helps universities, research organisations but also startups or SMEs to identify research with potential commercial interest. Thanks to our extensive network primarily in the fields of ICT, health, energy and automotive industries, we approach the industry or investors to find suitable parties identified during research. The Technology Transfer Service is very similar to the practice of Exploitation. The main difference is that the methodology for Technology Transfer is developed for commercial projects with mostly 2 institutions involved in process. The Exploitation methodology is developed primarily for large international publicly funded projects (FP7, H2020) with multiple actors involved.
