We are proud to announce that EIT InnoEnergy has prolonged cooperation with us, as Hub in Czechia, for the next period.

We are looking for startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that will be involved in the creation of new products using the method of co-creation. During this process, companies will focus on developing digital innovations in home care. You can apply for the open call until 30 September 2020 and participation is completely free of charge!

DEXIC Accelerator is back together with the second programme called 4DigitalHealth. Both programmes open their applications on August 20th. Impactful digital startups can apply until October 5th, 23:59. 

We have measured the readiness of companies for their digital transformation. Transnational Maturity Level is an index based on the mapping of companies from the Czech Republic, but also in other European regions, 

The European population is ageing and pressure on carers is increasing. It brings the need to use innovative digital products widely used by seniors and carers. HoCare2.0 project offers SMEs to join pilot testing and get guidance in co-creation approach when developing their new products. Currently, there is an open call that SMEs can join for free. 

The Danube Transnational Programme approved in a total of 35 new projects from the third call for proposals. About €60 million will be distributed from the ERDF, IPA and ENI funds. The main aim of the 3rd call is to foster transnational cooperation and support policy integration at the regional level. DEX Innovation Centre is the author of one approved project - eDigiStars.

After two successful batches, DEXIC Accelerator is coming back in 2020. The programme brings three major changes - the programme will run during November and the beginning of December, we are moving it to Prague, and Health startups will have specific curricula and programme called 4DigitalHealth.

Did you know that by 2060, every third European will be older than 65 years? It makes the “Silver Economy” one of the fastest-growing economic domains. Because many solutions for the elderly are digital-based and not well accepted, there is a growing need to involve them in the product design process. This will ensure that the product/service is designed for seniors’ needs and they will use it.

Primer, pre-acceleration programme for early-stage startups, has recently started with 19 motivated and innovative teams. During the 1st session on Monday, June 8th, they focused on the Lean Startup Methodology. 

The Czech Republic has chosen its startup champion to represent the country at the Grand Final of the PowerUp! Challenge. Pocket Virtuality is the winner, which, along with advancing to the June Grand Final, also won the prestigious InnoEnergy Startup of the Year. Pocket Virtuality will compete with the winning startups of Country Finals from another 23 European countries.

The overall winner will receive a prize of 50,000 euros, the possibility of investing millions of euros and the title of European leader. PowerUp! Challenge is an international startup competition, which takes place under the auspices of InnoEnergy and offers the opportunity to become another unicorn in the organization's portfolio.
